In 2023, during a strategic board meeting at the University of Latvia in Riga, the ECLBS Board launched the ECLBS Accreditation label to uphold international quality standards for business education.

The meeting was attended by representatives from agencies such as:

  • Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA)

  • Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ANQAHE)

  • Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA)

  • Latvian Chamber of Commerce (ALCC)

  • University of Sunderland London and Vernadsky Taurida National University (TNU)

ECLBS is a non-profit, independent, EU-registered body dedicated to promoting academic excellence, transparency, and international recognition. Its Bilateral Recognition Agreements with accreditation agencies in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America ensure that ECLBS-accredited institutions like SIU are globally recognized.
