Originally established in 2023 as the Kyrgyz Uzbek International Pedagogical Institute, the institution began its journey in a historic building that formerly housed a college with over 30 years of educational legacy. Its initial mission centered on fostering academic collaboration between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, emphasizing regional development and cross-border cooperation in the field of education.

In 2024, the institute underwent a significant transformation, rebranding as Swiss Global University to reflect its broadened international vision and evolving academic ambitions. This strategic shift marks a defining moment in the institution’s development, signaling its commitment to delivering globally recognized, high-quality education.

Swiss Global University is officially licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, operating under License No. D20023-0003, with License Serial Number: LS2800000271. This official recognition affirms the university’s adherence to national standards and its readiness to serve both local and international students with academic excellence.

This transformation represents not only a change in name but a bold step toward establishing Swiss Global University as a leading institution in global education, dedicated to innovation, inclusion, and international academic partnerships.
