Originally established in 2023 as the Kyrgyz Uzbek International Pedagogical Institute, the institution began its journey in a historic building that formerly housed a college with over 30 years of educational legacy. Its initial mission centered on fostering academic collaboration between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, emphasizing regional development and cross-border cooperation in the field of education.
In 2024, the institute underwent a significant transformation, rebranding as Swiss Global University to reflect its broadened international vision and evolving academic ambitions.
